Yelp is an iPhone application that offers reviews of local businesses (e.g., restaurants, bars). The latest version includes an “easter egg” (i.e., a hidden feature) that – get this – uses the the digital compass in the iPhone to figure out what nearby businesses you’re pointing the camera at. It then overlays the relevant reviews on the image streaming from the camera to the iPhone screen.
